Andrew McCann, SVA Thematic Partnership Officer
I am Andrew McCann and I have recently been appointed as SVA Thematic Progression Officer. The key tasks in my role include the following:
Establish & support thematic networks aligned to the community planning framework within North Lanarkshire
Conduct visioning and mapping exercises across all established networks
Support the facilitation of consultation through established networks to inform the design and delivery of CVS and VC services across North Lanarkshire
Support joint CVS/VC design, delivery and evaluation of services across North Lanarkshire.
Ensure network connectivity to sectoral profiling through effective linkage to Infobase North Lanarkshire
Develop appropriate connectivity to existing planning structures (e.g. Community Planning, LSEP, CL&D Partnership)
Support and compliment the ongoing work of VSPG and Liaison Forum
Through effective network engagement and consultation, contribute to the development and delivery of the North Lanarkshire Voluntary Sector Strategy (and related Action Plans).
Assist and support the VSPG to develop appropriate strategic linkage with statutory partners and stakeholders (e.g. NLC Community Engagement Team, NHS locality teams)
