About the service
A comprehensive external funding advice and support service, provided to the membership of CVS NL in order to maximise the take-up of external funding and help make third sector organisations more sustainable.
The aim is to provide comprehensive support to CVS NL members, identifying funding sources and developing business cases to acquire funding for projects.
The development officer also works closely with funding providers to maximise the effective take-up of external funds, monitoring outputs and providing support to groups to assist with monitoring processes. The dissemination of any changes to current funders’ guidelines and information about new funders is distributed to our membership as soon as possible.
The service has developed different levels of funding support, based on small grants funding, trusts and foundations as well as service level agreements. Bespoke training is also offered to organisations as and when required. See the training section for more information on funding and sustainability courses.
Current developments include planning for a specific funding event for the CVS membership that will allow organisations to meet specific funders, and also receive training, support and advice from external agencies.
