About the network

The Lanarkshire Social Economy Network commenced in September 2008 to cover North and South Lanarkshire and is funded by the Scottish Government. Prior to September, networking was delivered within Urban South Lanarkshire under the SMART Project.

The network is coordinated by Michelle Campbell who has done this since 2007.  The network represents partner organisations including CVS North Lanarkshire, CVSs in South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council and Lanarkshire Enterprise Services. The Lanarkshire network is also represented on the Local Social Economy Partnership (LSEP) operational group.

The network consists of organisations in Lanarkshire who are considering social enterprise as well as established organisations.
