Janice Currie, Childcare Liaison Officer
I am the Childcare Liaison Officer and my role is to represent and provide support to the three childcare forums in North Lanarkshire which are; Pre 5 Voluntary Sector Forum, Out of School Care Forum and Independent Nurseries Forum. The project is managed by CVS North Lanarkshire and will be based within the offices at 3 Mavisbank Street., however I will be working throughout North Lanarkshire.
Each of the three Forums will consist of a committee and membership will be open to all childcare providers catering for children and birth to 3 in a variety of settings. In my role I will be the voice for each sector in representation at various sub groups and agencies and also participate in local area networks, advise Forum members on grant, policy and training developments and promote the work of each of the forums and increase membership.
