Sharon Connachan, Development Officer (Training)

I am very pleased to introduce myself as the Development Officer for Training with CVS North Lanarkshire. My remit is to ascertain the training needs of our member organisations and try where possible to meet those needs, either by offering suitable training as part of our training programme, providing information on training available by other agencies in North Lanarkshire, or design bespoke training for organisations as and when needed.

As a member of CVS North Lanarkshire you have the unique opportunity of accessing free or subsidised quality training covering a range of subject areas geared to supporting you in developing best practice policies and procedures to enable the future long term sustainability of your organisation. All of our rainers are professionals in their chosen field and have years of experience in training/working within the voluntary and/or private sectors. Training is delivered in an informal, friendly and positive atmosphere, and participants will not only learn new skills from the trainer but will learn from others in a similar field, get the chance to network and have a fun and enjoyable experience.
