Sharon Connachan, Development Officer (Training & Development)
I am the development officer for Training & Development with CVS North Lanarkshire. My remit is to develop and co-ordinate our training and development Services. This includes the following aspects:
- Developing our core training programme and co-ordinating its delivery and evaluation
- Ensuring members receive regular updates on our training and relevant external training through our newsletters and bulletins.
- Supporting groups by identifying their training needs, and assisting them to identify suitable supports to meet those needs
- Co-ordinating the development and delivery of bespoke training
- Event organisation with other CVS staff
- Co-ordinating the SVA Training & Development Network
In addition I also represent CVS NL on the following partnerships:
- Learning in Lanarkshire
- Community Learning & Development
- SVA Training Accord Group Project
